Thomas M. Andrican

Thomas “Tom” Michael Andrican passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at his favorite place, The Corner Bar in Hibbing, Minnesota.

Tom was born to Mark “Bubsy” and Lois Andrican on August 4, 1964 in Hibbing. He graduated from Hibbing High School in 1982. Tom graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Business and then moved to Atlanta Georgia for 35 years. In Atlanta he enjoyed golf, spending time with his cat Chester, and Taco Mac (his favorite bar). 3 years ago he moved in with his mother, Lois, to take care of her in Hibbing. While in Hibbing, he played lots of golf with his nephews, spent many sunny days on the pontoon on Little Sturgeon surrounded by family, and enjoyed a plethora of happy hours at The Corner Bar.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Andrican, his cat Chester, his siblings Lois (Ed) Gardeski, Mark (Pat) Andrican, Jim (Sara) Andrican, Nick (Lisa) Andrican, Peggy Lang, Candie (Todd) Seppala, and Jeri Ann (Derek) Gabardi. His nephews Chris (Taryn) Gardeski, Nate (Molly) Andrican, Reed Andrican, Tyler (Carly) Hajicek, Tommy (Aviana) Hajicek, Nicholas (Emily) Seppala, Alex (Megan) Seppala, Nico Andrican, Mikey (Libby) Andrican, and Sam Gabardi. His nieces Erica (Brian) Holt, Liz (Connor) Perry, Katie (Brett) Eken, Gracie Gabardi, and Maya Andrican. Great nieces and nephews Remi Gardeski, Lucy and Andy Holt, Reece, Sloane, and baby boy (due in July) Andrican, Cullen and Lainey Hajicek, Noah Perry, Rylan Hajicek, and Baby Seppala, due in May.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mark “Bubsy” Andrican.

Tom’s celebration of life will be at Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Visitation from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Service at 1:00 pm. Please join us at Valentini’s for food, and of course a drink, to celebrate Tom in Tom fashion.  Private family interment will take place at a later date.
