Susan M. Danielson

Susan M. Danielson age 71 of Hibbing passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. Susan was born August 19, 1954, to Charles and Beverly (Fahleen) Ball in Hibbing. She was a 1973 graduate of Hibbing High School. On December 7, 1974, Sue was married to Norman Danielson at First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. Sue was a very hard worker, ultimately retiring from a position she loved with ADS at Fairview Range. She taught Sunday School at First Lutheran Church in Hibbing and was an EMT for the Silica Volunteer Fire Department. Early in their marriage Sue and Norm owned and operated a resort in NW Ontario, where Sue proudly took on the role of camp cook and so much more. Over 30 years later She and Norman were able to return to the same Canadian lake after they purchased a different resort that they turned into the perfect set of family cabins, a place that will forever be attributed to her hard work and love she had for her family. If you couldn’t find Sue in the garden or fishing boat, you could find her in the kitchen, where she was without a doubt cooking up something delicious. While Sue enjoyed many things from pancake feeds at the Silica Fire Hall to evenings at home watching her favorite TV programs, the thing that she loved the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is survived by her husband, Norman Danielson, children, Adam (Hana), Curtis (Kelli), Benjamin (Kaycee), Melissa (Tim), grandchildren, John, Clark, Kinslee, Olivia, Watson, Elsie and Millie, siblings, Mary Rewertz, Joan Gremes and Chuck (Mirjam) Gremes. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Patti Renzaglia and Timothy Gremes. A private family service will be held at a later date.
