Shirlee H. Johnson, 87, of Hibbing, MN, passed away on January 24, 2024, at the Hibbing Hospital. She was born in Park Rapids, MN, on June 20, 1936, to Doran and Gertrude (Bergen) Dickerson. Shirley grew up and attended school in Menahga, MN. She worked for a long time in the food and restaurant business as a baker. Shirley married Robert Johnson and they started their family together. Early on in her life, Shirley enjoyed arts and crafts and loved embroidery. Her pride was her backyard, filled with flowers and many, many solar lights.

Shirley is survived by her children, Doran (Andrea) Johnson, Robert Johnson and Darcia Johnson, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and children Darren, Brook and Stacie Johnson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 12 to 2PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Interment will take place at the Maple Hill Columbarium in Hibbing.
