Ruth Laura (Eliason) Williams

Ruth Laura (Eliason) Williams, 84, Hibbing, died Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Oak Hill Assisted Living in Grand Rapids. She was born at home in Spudville on October 17, 1934 to Verner and Laura (Zaitz) Eliason and graduated from Hibbing High School. Ruth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hibbing.

She will be missed by her daughters: Renee Williams, Grand Rapids, Sharon (Cliff) Odegaard, White Bear Lake, MN, Diane (Shane) Sauter, Rochester, MN, brothers: Ed (Alma) Eliason in Missouri and Arnie (Pat) Eliason in California, 10 grandchildren: Eric, Kari, Kyle, Phillip, Ashley, Alex, Brandon, Danielle, Troy and Rachel, 6 great-grandchildren: Miles, Mason, Nicolette, Ellison, Wyatt and Braelyn.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ronald,  great-grandson, Hunter, brothers, Will, Herb, and Art Eliason, infant sister Mary and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm., Saturday May 18, 2019 in Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Tim Yearyean officiating.  Visitation will be in church starting at Noon.   Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
