Rose M. Kastet, 92, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Guardian Angels Health & Rehabilitation Center in Hibbing. She was born March 27, 1934, to George and Manda (Anich) Rajkovich in Hibbing. A homemaker by trade, Rose was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Hibbing, and the CFU lodge 240. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, walking, and cycling as some of her favorite pastimes.

Rose is survived by her son, Steven (Debra) Kastet, Hibbing, MN, granddaughter, Lindsey Kastet, two great-grandchildren, Koby and Lucas Bergan, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two children, Terry and Jeffrey Kastet, grandson, Tayne Bergan, Husband Norman in 1992, her parents, George and Manda, five brothers, John, Rudy, George, and Daniel Rajkovich, Tom Costello, and three sisters, Mary Markowski, Josephine Eck, and Olga Perko.

Funeral services for Rose will be 11:00 am, Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Bill Skarich will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Fund. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
