Roberta Mae Miller, 93, of Side Lake, and formerly of Hibbing, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at Croixdale Assisted Living in Bayport, Minn.
She was born on May 4th, 1918, in Hibbing to William Roy and Selina Moyle Kerr. She was united in marriage on January 9th, 1945, to Robert F. “Bibbs” Miller. Roberta played a prominent roll in the early years of the family business, B. Miller Products. She was the secretary and bookkeeper. She enjoyed many things in life, including travel, her home on Little Sturgeon, and her friends and family. Roberta was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hibbing.
She is survived by her three children: Sally Anne Gordon, Bette Lou Wright, Terry Miller: nine grandchildren – Heidi (TJ) Dunnigan, Amy Lee, Betsy (Aaron) Johnson, Eric (Jill) Wright, Casey (Katie) Wright, Lindsey (Reed) Paitich, Matt Miller, Mark Miller, Ben Miller: and nine great-grandchildren – Owen and Griffin Dunnigan, Ryan Lee, Oliver, Isabella and Lucy Johnson, Maya and Luke Wright, Riley Paitich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held 11 AM Wednesday November 30, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church of Hibbing. Visitation will be 10—11 AM Wednesday in the church. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
