Richard "Rick" S. Jensen

Richard “Rick” Scott Jensen, age 52 of Hibbing, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Virginia, MN. He was born on July 6, 1972, in Hibbing, MN, to Richard “Dick” and Dianne (Waldron) Jensen. Rick was a lifetime resident of Hibbing and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. He married his wife, Kate, on September 29, 2018, in Chisholm. Rick loved hunting, fishing, playing bags and doing anything outdoors with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend, and will be missed dearly.

Rick is survived by his parents, Richard and Dianne Jensen; wife, Kathryn “Kate” Jensen; children, Brock Jensen, Brodey Jensen, Samantha (Adam) Gruis, and Carson (Macie McNulty) Link; sister, Jodi (Alex) Isaak, and their children Mikayla and Trey Isaak; brother-in-law, John (Angela) Schweiberger and their children Stella, Gavin, and Sylas Schweiberger; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Scott) Skraba and their children Cora and Louisa Skraba, and Andrew Pearson; grandchildren, Zoey and Zayda Jensen, and Joziah Link; In-Laws, Keith (Lynn) Schweiberger; and Grandma 2, Alice White.

He is preceded in death by his son, Baret Jensen, and nephew, Myles Schweiberger.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the First Lutheran Church in Hibbing, MN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Pastor John Dietz officiating the service.
