Rachel J. Lehman

Rachel J. Lehman, 81, longtime resident of Hibbing died Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born May 7, 1943, to Helge and Beryl (Haney) Johnson in Bagley, MN. Rachel was employed with AEOA as a housing director. She married Luvern “Bud” Lehman on June 9, 1973, in Hibbing. Together, they loved traveling the world. Rachel enjoyed planning the many trips they took throughout their lives together. She also enjoyed her pets, especially her late, loving Gigi.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bud Lehman, Hibbing, daughter, Tammy (Rick) Tahija, Hibbing, MN, her step-children, Bradley (Carey) Lehman, Stingy Lake, MN, and Denine Austin, Coeur d’Alene, ID, brother, Wayne (Dorothy) Johnson, Bagley, MN, their children, Karen Stish, Ruth Anspach, and Larry Johnson, 2 grandchildren, Nick Tahija, and Tanya (Eric) Draves, both of Hibbing, MN, three step-grandchildren, Ben, McKenzie, and Shane, along with many nieces and nephews.

Rachel’s wishes were to have no funeral services.
