Patricia “Auntie Pat” A. Chisholm

Patricia A. Chisholm, 75, Kitzville, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 in the Guardian Angels Health Care Center.  She was born in Hibbing on May 13, 1943, the daughter of Louis and Angeline Hrovat.  Patricia worked for 28 years as a housekeeper at Guardian Angels.  In her free time she loved to bowl, but her passion was Slovenian polka music.  She and her husband would take tours and attend conventions that revolved around polka music.  She was a member of the Slovenian Women’s Union and the SNPJ.  The family would like to thank the staff at Guardian Angels for the care they gave Patricia.

She is survived by her sister Marge (Bob) Gardner of Crystal, MN, sisters in law, Carol and Ruth Hrovat, both of Hibbing, brother in law Marvin Alapeteri of Bovey and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, her brothers, Bobby and Louis Hrovat and a sister Kathleen Alapeteri.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing.  Visitation will be in the funeral home from Noon until service time.  Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairview Range Home Care and Hospice program.
