Patricia R. Burns, 85, lifelong resident of Keewatin died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her home in Hibbing. She was born on August 13, 1932 in Janesville, WI. A homemaker by trade, Patricia loved cooking, playing cribbage and fishing. She was a member of the Buck Lake improvement Club.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jeffrey Werman, Hibbing, and Tracie (Mark) Marinaro of Nashwauk, MN, her five grandchildren, Jennifer Kritz, Anthony Marinaro, Katie Roche, Daniel Werman, and Thea Werman, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Jane Werman, husband, William Donald Burns in 1994, her parents, sister, Virginia Davey, and brother, Peter Miller.
Funeral services for Patricia will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Aaron Lofgren will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday. A spring interment will be held in Nashwauk Cemetery in Nashwauk, MN. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
