Hibbing

Nancy Ann Humphrey of Hibbing, Mn died unexpectedly on January 20, 2024 in Duluth, MN, where she had just celebrated her granddaughter’s wedding and had spent the evening with family and friends.
Nancy was born on September 22, 1943 to Ernest and Angela Lepak in Duluth MN. She grew up there before marrying and eventually settling in Hibbing where she raised her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, traveling to Florida, attending craft shows and being a home interior representative. Her greatest love however was her family. Particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made several meaningful friendships and always kept Jesus in her heart. Nancy is survived by her three children, Norman Jr. (Fay) Humphrey of Orr, MN Lynda Humphrey of Hibbing, MN and Robert (Mara) Humphrey of St. Paul, MN.  Eleven grandchildren: Amanda Gustafson, Adam Norman, Angela Bergman, Ashlyn Entgelmeier, Spencer Humphrey, Bridget Bennett, Whitney Humphrey, Ada Humphrey, Odin Humphrey, Elsa (mini-Nancy) Humphrey and Agnes Humphrey.  Four great grandchildren: Ezra and Eli Humphrey (she was so proud she had twin great grandsons) Neo Humphrey and Josiah Entgelmeier. Also her sister Kathy (Bill) Erickson Punta Gorda, FL.
Nancy was always a beacon of love and hope for her family. She stuck with her family in good times and bad and took it all with grace. She always saw the light in a dark situation and preferred to stay positive, always seeing the good in all. In accordance with her wishes there will be a private celebration of life at a later date and a private family event at the Lepak family plot in Gnesen, MN.
