Michael Joseph Bozich

Michael J. Bozich, 61, of Hibbing, MN, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at his home in Hibbing. He was born in Duluth, MN to Matthew and Helen (Huska) Bozich on December 24, 1962. 

Michael married his lovely wife Jodi in 2008, and together they raised their family. He was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union. Michael was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing especially at his secrete spot on Stuart Lake. He was a social guy and loved to tell stories and enjoyed spending time at one of his favorite spots Jack & Dons whether he w

as helping or not. Michael enjoyed cooking, listening to Bob Dylan, traveling, and watching westerns, especially Gun Smoke. 

Michael is survived by his wife, Jodi Bozich; children Diane Bozich, Jessica Bozich, John “Mikey” Bozich, Tim Rettner, Colleen Bell, and John (Abbey) Rettner; brother, Jim (Cathe) Bozich; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and his 4 nieces. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and daughters, Jamie Stream and Michelle Rettner. 

Funeral services for Michael will be 12:00 pm, Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Fr. Daniel Weiske will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Friday. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
