Marilyn Laliberte

Marilyn A. Laliberte (Granger) age 86 of Hibbing passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. Marilyn was born to Eugene and Grace (Cerew) Granger June 20, 1932. She grew up in International Falls with her mom, dad and brother, Eugene Jr. Marilyn was a 64 year resident of Hibbing. She enjoyed a 28 year career as a social worker at the Hibbing Hospital. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Grace, husband, David “Sam” Laliberte and her brother, Eugene Jr. She is survived by her children, Susan Laliberte of Minneapolis, MN, Mike (Elizabeth) Laliberte of Maple Grove, MN, Joseph (Marella) Laliberte of Hibbing, MN, grandchildren, Bethann, Baylee, Leyton, great-grandchild, Kristopher, relatives, co-workers, and many good friends. A celebration of life will be held 11:30 am Monday, April 22, 2019 at Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the start of the service. Bob Kuhl will officiate.
