Margaret J. Kepler, 88, Chisholm, formerly of Hibbing died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Serving Harts Assisted Living in Chisholm, MN. She was born March 12, 1936, to Nick and Mary (Maras) Stilinovich in Hibbing. A homemaker by trade, she was a proud mother of 6 wonderful children. She enjoyed cooking, baking, especially her infamous cheesecakes, loved playing scrabble, was an avid reader, and took an interest in learning the customs of various religions, especially Judaism, even though she was not Jewish. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community. 

Margaret is survived by her son, Robert (Mary Ann) Kepler, and their family, Martine (Tom) Cianni, Noel (Shaun) Kepler-Gageby, Madeline Gageby, Nick (Heather) Kepler, Layla and Jackson Kepler, and Jackie (Josh) Aikey, daughter, Kathy Kepler (Gerry) Leonard, their son, Gerald Mark Leonard Jr., daughter, Lisa Kepler, and her daughter, Marin Iozzo, son, Greg Kepler, daughter, Lori Kepler (Chris) Koehler, and their family, Amber Fryklund, Michelle (Mike) Johnson, Brayden and Nico Johnson, and Lisa (Tom) Thai, and Emmett and Baker Thai, son, Tom Kepler, and his family, Ashley Mathews, Lilly Peterson, and T.J. Kepler, her brother, Tom (Dee) Stilinovich, along with great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Mary (Maras) Stilinovich, and her sister, Marcia Stilinovich.

A graveside service for Margaret will be held at the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing at a later date. Margaret’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Serving Harts for the love and compassionate care they provided while she resided there. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
