Margaret E. Boyce
Margaret E. Boyce, 84, Chisholm, MN, died Wed. Jan. 6, 2016 in Chisholm. She was born Dec. 17, 1931 in Cushing, MN, the daughter of Victor and Alvina Wedin. Margaret spent her early childhood in Cushing and moved to Hibbing as a young girl. She worked as a cook for the Sportsman’s Café and Mary’s Café. She was a soldier for the Salvation Army for 32 years and in her free time she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Debbie (Juan) Swearinger of Peoria, IL, Hannah Jaynes of Chisholm and Kathy Wauzynski of Hibbing, a brother Marvin Wedin of Bemidji, MN, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Chuck Thompson and Frank Baronich, 2 brothers: Orville and Aron Wedin and a sister Iralene Lohman.
Funeral services will be held in the Dougherty Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 at 4:00. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until service time.
