Mackenzy "Mack" Martean Clifton, 26 of Nashwauk, Mn, left this world all too soon on June 10th, 2023.
He was born in Hibbing, Mn, on September 14th, 1996 to DJ Clifton and Mandy (Petron) Johnson. Mack
grew up in the Nashwauk/Hibbing area, played hockey for HHS, and graduated with the class of 2015.
Mack had some experience with Carpentry, and had recently gone back to College in hopes of becoming
an Electrician. Mack from an early age, was on the move. He enjoyed many things, and was a bit of a
daredevil. He loved to hunt and fish with his brother Garrett, Grandpa John, Dad and many others. He
loved to golf with his little brother Calvin, Grandpa Joe, Mom, uncles and friends. He also enjoyed
playing Texas Holdem, Darts, and pool, Mack seemed to be good at anything he did. He loved playing
video games with his brothers Garrett and Calvin. Mack was an amazing brother to Garrett, Calvin and
Camryn, and an amazing friend to many. Mack was also into his health and working out in the gym. No
was never an option for Mack, and one of his great loves was dirt biking, and boy oh boy was he good
at it. But above all Mack loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, he would always say
how lucky he was. Everyone who knew him, knew what an amazing person he was, and will always
have a special place in their hearts for him. His parents' greatest joy was seeing him thrive. He will be
dearly missed. Fly high sweet boy.

Mackenzy is survived by his loving family, parents: Mandy Johnson and DJ (Kara) Clifton, grandparents: Joe Petron, Sharon Anderson and John and Sheri Clifton, brothers: Garrett, Calvin and Camryn, uncles: Joey (Kara), John (Mel), Jake (Deb) and aunt, Lisa (Josh) and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Nashwauk. Father Joseph Sobolik will officiate mass. There will be visitation one hour before the mass starting at 1:00PM. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. Interment will take place at the Nashwauk Cemetery after mass on Friday.
