Lori D. Hansen

Lori D. Hansen age 53 of Hibbing passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley, MN. She was born Oct. 26, 1971, to Douglas and Darlene (Schafer) Hansen. 

Lori attended Virginia High School graduating in 1989. Throughout her working career Lori worked at McDonalds for 15 years, ODC and Access North for 14 years. Lori loved to garden, and she truly had a green thumb. She was a member of the backyard chicken group, Lori kept chickens so she could have fresh eggs! She was also an avid reader and was very knowledgeable. Lori enjoyed watching NASCAR. 

She is survived by her significant other Danny Blight, daughters, Rowan Frand, Darienne Underwood and Brandy Skalski, siblings, Jeff and Tim Hansen, grandchildren, Braedyn, D’Lukka, Layla, brother-in-law, Jimmy Schug, nieces, Chandelle, Sheyenne and Ashley, many extended relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Greg Skalski. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Chisholm Baptist Church In Chisholm, MN.
