Lois Rengstorf

Lois Rengstorf age 86 of Hibbing went to be with the Lord Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born in Hibbing on October 7, 1937, to Donald and Anna (Smeland) Harrison. Lois attended Hibbing schools, following graduation she was joined in marriage to Roger Rengstorf, on February 15, 1957, they enjoyed 63 years together until Roger’s death in 2020. Lois spent most of her time raising her children and keeping up the house. When Roger owned the Napa Auto Parts store in Hibbing Lois did the bookkeeping. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Hibbing Christian Assembly and Abundant Life Church. Lois provided food for weddings and funerals at the church, she also volunteered for meals on wheels as well as hosting bible studies and prayer groups at her home. She was involved with the Christian Women’s Club. Family was very important to Lois, she helped take care of her parents when they got older and always stayed close with her family. Lois is survived by her children, Sherri Marie Monson, Midway, MN, Greg (Roxanne) Rengstorf, Hibbing, MN, Bryan (Mary) Rengstorf, Hibbing, MN, sisters, Donna Christenson, Verna Carlson, Wanda Smith, Sharon Bussey, grandchildren, Mandy (Jim) Card, Chris (Ashley) Rengstorf, Matt Rengstorf, Andrew Rengstorf, Brandon (Leah) Monson, Bradley (Bethany) Monson, Ben (Kristen) Monson, greatgrandchildren, Tyler Farnsworth, Jordan Farnsworth, Kylie Farnsworth, Izabelle Card, Grace Monson, Maisy Monson, Adeline Monson, Michael Monson Ryder Rengstorf, Landon Rengstorf, Darreona Card, Emma Card, Ella Card and one boy on the way, great-great grandchild, Grayson Card. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roger. Due to Rogers passing during the height of COVID a funeral service will be held for Lois and Roger 11:30 am Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Abundant Life Church in Hibbing. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the beginning of the service at 11:30 am at the church. Interment will be held at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
