Leland Scott Lane

September 26, 1958 — January 10, 2024

Leland Scott Lane, 65, of Hibbing, MN, passed away on January 10th, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN.

He was born in Grand Rapids on September 26, 1958, to James and Marilyn (Rantala) Lane. Leland grew up in Pengilly, MN, and attended school in Greenway. He loved to fish with his kids and be outdoors hunting and riding his bike everywhere. Leland also enjoyed doing a bit of dumpster diving and finding all of his treasures. He was able to give back as he donated to Lifesource.

Leland is survived by his first wife Annette whom he had Little Lee and Jason along with numerous grandkids, his second wife Susan and son Eric, third wife Joanie and daughter Taylor Jo, fourth wife Summer and kids Autumn, Alex, Liz and Robert and his current wife Nichole, son Greysen and many step children, step grandchildren and his siblings Julie Sutherland and Tina Pride.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Catherine Lamke, David Lane and Nina Eichorn.

There will be a memorial celebration starting at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Hibbing Christian Assembly. Pastor Dave Aho will officiate.
