Lawrence E. Wesley, 60, longtime resident of Hibbing died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Hibbing with family by his side.  He was born on August 1, 1957 to Earl and Harriett (Wold) Wesley in Hibbing.  Larry was a jack of all trades, he was a member of the Art Institute of Minneapolis.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Wesley, and Jon (Stephanie) Welsey, both of Hibbing, his father, Earl Wesley, Island Lake, MN, his three siblings, Loren Wesley, Luanne (Tom) Ridlon, and Lora Wesley, all of Hibbing, two grandchildren, Levi Wesley and Landan Sellman, nieces and nephews, Josh (Whitney) Ridlon, Jake (Miranda) Ridlon, Justin Ridlon, Jesse Ridlon, Cameron Wesley, and Alan Wesley, his great-nieces and nephews, Della, Wyatt, Arizona, and Caroline, close friends, Scott Erickson, Hibbing, and Richard Parham, Minneapolis, and many other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriett Wesley in 2008.

Funeral services for Larry will be 12:00 noon, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  The Rev. Kevin Olson will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home on Monday.  A reception at Silica Fire Hall will follow the funeral service at the funeral home on Monday.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
