Josephine J. Lubovich, 91, Chisholm died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Heritage Manor in Chisholm, MN.  She was born on April 19, 1920 to Ettore and Delmera (Corpanetti) Bongi in Iron Mountain, MI.  She had been a resident of Chisholm since 1952.  She was in charge of store operations at Lundell’s Bakery for several years.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm where she was very much involved with her church.  Her pastimes were crafts, figurines, and arranging flowers.  She loved her flowers, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Marco Lubovich, Chisholm, MN., son, Tom (Janet) Schinderle, Hibbing, daughter, Beverly (Chuck) Pfeilstifter, Racine, WI., sisters, Mary Irish, Manistique, MI., Isabelle Dierkens, Norway, MI., and Evelyn Kassin Bouchard, Iron Mountain, MI., four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Thomas Schinderle, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services for Josephine will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm.  The Rev. Fr. Fred Method will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be at a later date in Iron Mountain, MI.  Josephine’s family would like to thank the Heritage Manor staff for their excellent and professional care that was given to Josephine during her stay at Heritage Manor.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
