James H. “Jim” Marolt
James H. “Jim” Marolt, 57, Hibbing, died Wednesday January 11, 2012, at Shady Knoll Assisted Living in Hibbing. He was born on Oct. 14, 1954, in Hibbing to Herman and June Marolt. Jim graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked at L&M Radiator in Hibbing for over 37 years. He was united in marriage to Bev Allison on July 9, 1983, in Hibbing. Jim had earned his private pilot’s license and enjoyed shooting at the Hibbing Rifle and Pistol Club and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Bev; two children: Mathew Marolt and Sabrina Marolt; a brother, John (Patti) Marolt; a niece, Jonelle (Corey) Zika and a nephew, Tim (Wendy) Marolt, all of Hibbing. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his mother and father in-law.
Visitation will be Saturday January 14, 2012, at Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends may sign the online register book at www.doughertyofhibbing.com.
