James F. Clark Jr., 75, longtime resident of Hibbing, MN died Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born April 8, 1951, to James and Donna (Goltz) Clark Sr. in Big Rapids, MI. James united in marriage with Rhonda (Wivoda) Clark on August 19, 1972. Together they raised their family in Hibbing. James graduated from Law School with a Doctorate degree. He owned and operated his own law firm in Hibbing for many years. His love was horses, James was very involved in the horse community throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, and spending time on the pontoon at his Tank Lake property. He also took great pride in having spent winters down in Texas with his daughter Becky.

Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rhonda Clark, Hibbing, MN, son, James (Jaime) Clark III, Jordan, MN, and Rebecca Clark, Tuscola, TX, four siblings, Marc (Romi) Clark, Libby, MT, Edd (Paul) Clark, Scarborough, ME, Brad Clark, Meridian, MS, and Mitchell (Ellen) Clark, Colorado Springs, CO, three grandchildren, Wyatt, Paige, and Hadley Clark, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Donna.

Funeral services for James will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. The Rev. Michael Kylochko will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the 12:00 noon memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday.
