Gregory M. Billing

Gregory M. Billing, 67, passed away on Monday, July 29th , 2024, at Grand Itasca Hospital in

Grand Rapids, MN. He was born on May 26th, 1957, in Hibbing, MN, to Arnold and Ina

(Haugen) Billing.

Greg graduated from Hibbing High School in 1975, and went to trade school in Brainerd

to become a custodian. He enjoyed helping others by volunteering at Our Savior's Lutheran Church every

chance he could. Greg was a big sports fan, especially when it came to the  Minnesota Vikings and

the Twins. He was also a fan of Hibbing sports and went to many games and events. Greg was a

member of the Sons of Norway and the Hibbing Moose Club. He loved to ride his road

bike around the town.

He is survived by mother, Ina Bukovich; brother, Michael Bukovich; nephews, Mason

and McGuire (Sadie) Bukovich; and grandnephew, Ivan Bukovich. He is preceded in

death by his father, Arnold Billing.

There will be a celebration with family and friends starting at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Visitation will be held one hour prior starting at 10:00 AM.  Pastor Kevin Olson will officiate services.
