Frank Ambrozich

Frank Ambrozich, 83, of Hibbing, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Frank was born April 16, 1942, and was the son of the late Frank and Mary Ambrozich. He graduated from Nashwauk High School and briefly attended the University of Minnesota. Frank worked for the Hanna Research Lab and the Cleveland Cliffs Research Lab.

Frank enjoyed spending time at Crooked Lake fishing, hunting, and most of all cutting and splitting biomass. He was a member of the Swan Lake Country Club and the Hibbing Curling Club for many years. He was an avid reader and storyteller. Frank also enjoyed the company of the cats he had rescued. At Frank's request, no services will be held. A gathering of friends will take place on March 21 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Palmer's Tavern in Hibbing.

Interment will be at the Buhl Cemetery at a later date.
