Fiorita "Fio" Rachel (Cristiano) Ricci

Fiorita Rachel (Cristiano) Ricci, 100 years of age, of Hibbing, MN, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Mary's in Duluth.  She was born in Gilbert, MN, on June 28, 1923, to Joseph and Lucy (Vellella) Cristiano.  Fio married Joseph B. Ricci in her hometown of Gilbert on June 14, 1947.  They moved to the Brooklyn neighborhood of Hibbing and started their family.  Fio was very involved with her community and especially with the church as her faith was important.  She was passionate about good food and cooking as she showed her great love for her friends and family in that way.  Fio was adored by her family and she will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
