Evelyn Bronson, 92, Duluth, formerly of Hibbing, died Monday, December 19, 2011 at St. Ann’s Residence in Duluth where she had resided for the past four months. She was born in Hibbing to Attilio and Lena Albertini on October 15, 1919 and graduated from Hibbing High School in 1937. Evelyn had been a member of the Italian American Club, Red Hat Society, and St. Leo’s and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church’s in Hibbing.
Evelyn is survived by five children, Georgia Godlewski, Brooklyn Center, MN, Lawrence (Vicki) Bronson, Blaine, MN, Dr. Michael (Ginger) Bronson, Duluth, Eugene (Renee) Bronson, Maplewood, MN, and Kathleen Marino, Burnsville, MN, daughter in law, Jody Bronson, Luck, WI, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bronson, her son, Kenneth Bronson, and her brother, Albert Albertini.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time and continue at the reception following the service. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing. Memorials are preferred to the Assumption Catholic School Building fund, 2310 7th Ave. E., Hibbing, MN 55746, or donors choice.
