Ellen F. Kuhel

Ellen F. Kuhel, 85, Hibbing died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.  She was born December 12, 1933 to Beral and Geneviev (Ivye) Gines in Tabiona, UT.  Ellen moved from Utah in 2005 to Minnesota and lived in Meadowlands for a year, she then relocated to Hibbing in 2006 where she had been a resident until her death.  She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hibbing.  Ellen enjoyed puzzles, word search, playing cards and bingo as her pastimes.

She is survived by her children, Robert and Beth Kuhel, both of Hibbing, sisters, Ivy of Moab, UT, and Zeda of Salt Lake City, UT, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ex-husband Alfred, two brothers, Dewey, and Buddy, and her sister, Olita.

Per Ellen’s request, there will be no services at this time.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
