Eleanor "Mitzi" V. Nasi

Eleanor Valeri Nasi passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the age of 100. She was born to Santi and Marie (Hlabshe) Valeri on October 1, 1925. She married Arvid Nasi on June 12, 1948.

She loved spending her summers at Horseshoe Lake and the winter months on the beach at Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, and her time she spent dancing the night away with the HA’s.

She is survived by her children, Kris (Bob) Clover, their children Nicole (Ben) Herseth and Casey Clover, Becky (Charlie) Radika, their children, Jesse (Donna) Radika and Sara Radika, Camille Nasi and her daughter Diana (Eric) Walley, Patrick (Natalie) Nasi their children, Reed, Genaz, Lynn & Emmy, Brian (Nancy) Nasi, Andrea (Tom) Sertich and their children, Nick (Sam) Sertich, Carly (Josh) Klapatch, Alex (Sammi) Sertich. 14 Great Grandkids, Elias, Odin, Rory, Cassidy, Katie, Ryan, Maryssa, Lia, Max, Lucy, Elsie, Henry, Emma and Sadie. Also, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santi and Marie (Hlabshe), husband Arvid Nasi, sisters, Valeria Carlson, Milena Koehler, brothers Zenobio Valeri and Genezio Valeri.

The Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Manor in Chisholm for all the care they gave Mom during her stay.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Hibbing, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the Mass, and Rev. Daniel Weiske will officiate the service. A private interment will take place at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, MN. In lieu of flowers donation to the Assumption School can be made in her honor.

Mom’s daily prayer: Eternal rest grant to all departed souls, dear Lord – May they rest in peace. Mitzi
