Dylan J. Perkovich

December 17, 1980 — May 15, 2025

Chisholm, MN

Dylan John Perkovich passed away at his home with his wife by his side on 5/15/2025 after a short battle with illness. Dylan was born in Hibbing, MN on 12/17/1980 to John and Rochelle “Shelly” Perkovich.

Dylan grew up in the Side Lake and Chisholm, MN areas with his parents, brother, and sisters. Dylan graduated from Chisholm High School in 1999. After high school, Dylan attended some college courses but found his calling in the hospitality industry. Dylan worked for many years at Grandma’s In The Park located in Hibbing, MN. Dylan made lifelong friendships while working there and remembered all of his co-workers fondly.

Dylan purchased Sidelines Sports Bar in 2009. Throughout his ownership, Dylan contributed to many different fundraisers and causes and was immensely generous to the community. Dylan had an amazing desire to give to others and did so without hesitation. Some of Dylan’s proudest moments were being able to give back to others through the numerous benefits he held at Sidelines. Dylan had a unique ability to gather people to help support anyone who may be struggling, in need, or just to give a helping hand. Dylan was always proud of being able to provide so much support and worked so closely with his mom Shelly to make the events successful every single time.

In 2006, Dylan became a father to one of the greatest joys of his life, his son Brennen. Dylan met his wife, Jessie Perkovich, in 2011, moved to Pengilly, MN and was able to be the very best bonus dad to Keegan and Aislinn. Dylan and Jessie married on May 18, 2013 and together were able to raise their children. One of the greatest joys in Dylan’s life was to be able to watch the kids doing the things that they loved. Dylan was an avid supporter of all the things they did whether it was wrestling, basketball, football, or equestrian events. Dylan loved his “little” family.

Dylan’s love of the Minnesota Vikings was unmatched and anyone who knew him would agree. Dylan’s favorite pastime was watching football on Sunday’s with his friends and family members, and it brought him so much joy. His favorite saying was “ SKOL Vikes” and he would greet anyone in a Vikings jersey with the sentiment.

Dylan had a unique zest for life, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Dylan loved each of his friends, his patrons, and his family members with all of his heart. Dylan will be missed by so many.
