Dennis was an avid fisherman and a classic car enthusiast who loved his 1988 Corvette. In 1994, he achieved a lifelong goal by earning his private pilot's license.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Beverly Murr of Lake Elmo, MN; his son, Phillip (Desire’e Caron) Murr of Crystal, MN; his daughter, Jauson (Lee Daleiden) Almer of Stillwater, MN; and three grandchildren, Kenyon Almer, Quinn Murr, and Michael Degroat.
