Denise M. Lantman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Denise Lantman after a very hard-fought battle with cancer. She passed on June 2nd with all of her family by her side. She was only 4 days before her 58th birthday.

Denise was born in Minot North Dakota on the 6th day of June in the year 1967, to her parents Rita and Harold Soland. Denise is the oldest of 3 spunky girls. She attended Buhl schools where she was a cheerleader and ran track. Denise graduated in 1985. After high school she received her business degree from Hibbing Community College. She had I son Audrik, and a stepson Nolan. 

 She married Mark Lantman on April 7, 2001.  During her wonderful life Denise worked many jobs, and that was because she really enjoyed to work and provide for her family. This often meant working more than 1 job at a time. Denise was a very social person and enjoyed good company, but she also wasn't afraid to tell you exactly what was on her mind, which sometimes would get her in trouble but that's just who she was. She had so many hobbies that she truly enjoyed including camping, going to the casino, and walking in Canal Park in Duluth, but out of all things she enjoyed, the one thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her family Denise was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all, more than she realizes.

Denise is survived by, significant other Mark Lantman, son Audrik, fur baby, Aries  sisters Shelly (Sam), Heather (Chuck), dad, Horold, In-laws Paul and Marie, - nieces, Shyla (Jason) Felicia, nephews, David (Brittney) and Jeffrey - Great nieces Kenzy - Ellie - Veyda, and Natalie, Great Nephews Lyric - Jaxston - Kaycen-, and Grayson, Denise is preceded in death by mom Rita-Stepson Nolan and numerous family members

We also want to give a huge thank you to the Oncology team. With all the love you showed Denise during this hard time, you made this trying time a little easier, and also a big thank you to the home hospice and healthcare staff, the love, care, and dedication you showed to Denise was truly remarkable, especially Hannah, You're awesome.
