Daniel "Danny" P. Kunze

Our dearly loved Daniel Paul Kunze (Danny), 37, left us all too early on April 25, 2025. He will be remembered for his big heart and as the friendly, neighborhood Mediacom Guy. Danny will always be known for his ability to take anything apart and mostly put it back together. Danny was born in Bemidji, MN, on January 14, 1988. Most of his adult life was spent in Keewatin and Hibbing.

Danny will be greatly missed by his Fiance, Debbie Mohawk, his parents, Chris and Janice Kunze, his siblings, Anna (Tom) Mize, Joel Kunze, and Jesse Kunze, his grandparents, Dorothy Kunze and Alvin and Jean Lozinski, and his fur family (his Kitters), Minners, Fuzzy Butt, and Roo along with too many family and friends to name.

Danny is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Kunze, and by his and Debbie's fur pets, Bruty, Jazzy, Wizzie, Moochies, and Goof.

Being an Organ Donor was of utmost importance to Danny, and with his selfless gifts, his legacy will live on through others.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Nashwauk Alliance Church in Nashwauk, MN. Visitation will be from 11 am - 1 pm, with the service starting at 1 pm, with Rev. Dave Aho officiating. Following the memorial service, the immediate family will be doing a private burial, and once they return, they will join family and friends for a meal in honor of Daniel at the church.
