Cresta Lee Strub

Cresta L. Strub, 49, Bigfork, MN, formerly of Hibbing and Yankton, SD. Died Monday, August 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 30, 1975 in Crookston, MN. Coming from Yankton, SD, she moved to Hibbing and lived there for a short time and later moving to Bigfork for the past 2 ½ years. She was married on August 18, 2000 to Corey Strub. Cresta was employed as an RN with Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing. She was an avid hiker, loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, kayaking, and canoeing as her favorite pastimes. 

 She is survived by her husband, Corey Strub, Bigfork, MN, sons, Crew(Bri Kostal) Strub, Bigfork, MN, and Caige Strub, Freeman, SD., her mother, Kerry Lundquist, Watertown, SD, siblings, Salena Lundquist, Hibbing, Melanie Lundquist and Michael Lundquist, both of Watertown, SD, and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ardell and Percy.

 Per Cresta’s request there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
