Charlotte "Charlie" Elj

Charlotte "Charlie" Reagan Elj, just two months old, passed away after one hell of a fight at the Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis on August 17, 2022.  She was born at the children's hospital to Bobby and Nicole (Nelson) Elj on June 19, 2022.  Charlie was premature and came into the world very delicate, but soon it was clear that she was strong and feisty.  Her loving family got to spend two hard but incredible months meeting Charlie and learning her personality.  In her short time here, Charlie was curious and always looking for something to grab or hold on to.  She cuddled and was held by her mom, dad and sister.  They soon found out that Charlie was a little stubborn... She knew what she wanted and how she was most comfortable.  As she gave the nurses a hard time, Charlie became a bit of a celebrity as she fought to spend time with her family.  Her doctors would even check in while they were off the clock to see what she was up to and how she was doing.  While she was here, she fought until the very end and Charlie was SO loved.
Charlie is survived by her parents; Bobby and Nicole, sister and brother; Katie and Robbie, her grandparents and aunts and uncles.
A private gathering will be held at a later time.  Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.
