Casey James Stukey

Casey James Stukey of Keewatin, MN, left this world all too soon at the young age of 34 on July 27, 2025. Casey grew up in Keewatin and graduated from Nashwauk Keewatin High School. He attended school for a short time in St. Cloud, MN, before moving back home with family. Casey was nothing but gracious and helpful to those he loved. He wanted to make people smile and laugh in any way that he could. Casey wanted those he cared about to be happy and never wanted to put people out or burden others with his needs or wants. He enjoyed messing with friends and family and joking around to get a laugh. Casey loved his family and also loved to push their buttons! He adored his nieces, nephews and little cousins as Casey loved spending time with and watching over them. He was an awesome uncle.

Casey is survived by his mom Gayle (Daniel Krippner) Gould, sister Coutney (Taylor) Wolff, Uncle Todd (Jennifer) Stukey, Aunt Dena (Mark) Dyni, nephew and nieces William, Wrenley and Monica Wolff, cousins Mia and Brooke Stukey, Caylen and Kylee Dyni, Kevin Leino and his daughter Karli, Raymond III (Amber) Leino and their kids Ryder and Raymond IV and Terran (Joe Mallick) Stukey and their kids Braiden Stukey and BriAnna Akerman, along with many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Margaret Elj and Donald Stukey, Aunt Kelly Zandt and cousin Geoffrey Stukey.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing, MN, on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
