Brenda Elizabeth Emanuel, 52, Hibbing, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning November 13, 2011, at home in her sleep and is now one of the finest angels in Heaven.  She was born on April 26, 1959, to John R. “Butch” and Dana Emanuel.  The first of six children, Brenda was a natural born leader, an accomplished musician, a successful business woman, a devoted daughter, loving sister, incredible mother, amazing grandmother, cherished partner, and a true friend.  She always had time for anyone who needed advice or just someone to talk to.  She went by many names, “B,” Mom, Grandma, and even “Green shirt,” but no matter how you called her, she would answer.    Grace—Peace—Wisdom, these were the words that Brenda lived by.  Brenda was a teacher of life.  Her inspiring words and kindness towards others was always present.
Brenda is survived by the love of her life, Mike Randolph of Hibbing; her mother, Dana Emanuel of Keewatin; daughters Angela (John) Schweiberger, Hibbing, Carrie (James) Armstrong, Hibbing, and Ashlee Randolph, Chisholm; a son, James (Kristen) Bayliss, Hibbing; a brother, Patrick (Brenda) Emanuel, Florida; sisters Christina (Doug) Winter, Florida, Mary (Steve) Lee, Hibbing, Michelle (Herbert Jr.) Smart, Hibbing, and Jennifer (Jason) Narveson, St. Paul; grandchildren Ethan Bayliss, Stella Schweiberger, Gavin Schweiberger, Ava Bayliss, Adelyn Bayliss, Luciana Armstrong, and Jacksen Bayliss.  She was preceded in death by her father, John R. “Butch” Emanuel, husband, Tom Larson, and her grandson, Myles Schweiberger.
Visitation will be 6—8 PM Wednesday November 16, 2011, in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, and also 10—11 AM Thursday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Keewatin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday November 16, 2011, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Keewatin.  Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
Memorials made to the family will be donated to the Hibbing High School Choir.
