Anna Marie Wakefield

Anna Marie Wakefield, 56, longtime Hibbing resident died Tuesday May 14, 2019 while visiting a friend in Crosby, MN.  She was born in Grand Rapids, MN to Darnea and Alexandra (Stasuk) Olson on May 17, 1962. Anna enjoyed crafting, sewing, country music and her family both immediate and extended.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years Doug, son Hunter at home, mother Alexandria Marovich, Buhl, siblings, Darnea (Vera) Olson, Hibbing, Liz (Peter) Anderson in Texas, Nikki Evans in Michigan, and many nieces, nephews, and foster children. She was preceded in death by her father Darnea, and sister Sheryl Vance.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm. Monday, May 20, 2019 in the Dougherty Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Tomberlin officiating.  Visitation will be for one hour before the service.  Burial will be in the Sago Township Cemetery.
