Amanda J. Hawley

Amanda Jane Hawley, age 39, of Hibbing, MN, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was born on March 29, 1987, in Hibbing, MN, to Rodney and Clara (Preble) Syverson.

She was an outgoing and vibrant woman who found her greatest joy in being a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Niomi, who meant everything to her. She cherished the time they spent together, especially doing crafts and making memories filled with laughter and love. Amanda loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to concerts, spending time at the county fair, and relaxing days at the lake. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her free spirit, and the deep love she shared for her family and friends.

Amanda is survived by her daughter, Niomi Clara Ann Hawley; father, Rodney “Rod” Syverson; step-mother, Patty Syverson; step-sister, Crystal Orr; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Clara Syverson.
