It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alison “Ali” K. Musech, of Richfield MN, on October 17, 2024, at the age of 47, surrounded by family. Ali was born on April 10, 1977, in Hibbing, MN which was Easter Sunday that year.
She attended Hibbing schools, graduating in 1995. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1999 and began a career in accounting. She was employed in commercial real estate for 20 years as an accountant, which took her to the Minneapolis area and Washington D.C. where she made many close friends. The past five years she was employed working with non-profits until she bravely left employment because of illness.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Cindy (Sweet) Musech of Hibbing, sister Tracy (Chris) Jurek and their children Kaylee (Logan) Dorle, Kobe, Camden, and Carter Jurek, and soon to be great niece Josie Dorle, brothers Robert L. (Kimberly) Musech and son Ryan, and Brad (Katrina) Musech. Also surviving are her aunt Kay Sweet, great aunt Verdella Musech, her godparents Darell and Vicki Musech, and aunts and cousins in MN and other states, and many friends, who blessed her life.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Christina Sweet and Lewis Sweet, and Robert I. and Marian Musech.
Ali was known for having several hobbies and interest in her life. Some of her favorites were bicycling, hiking with her nephews and niece, planting and tending to her beautiful flower gardens, going out to her favorite restaurants, traveling, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and other sports, listening to her extensive music library, attending concerts and other festivities, and being with family and friends. Ali spent much beloved time with her two cats, Maddy Lou and Baxter Boo spoiling them and catering to their every need, playing with them, and letting them relax outdoors. Ali was a devoted aunt to her niece and nephews, often spending time with them at their home and at the lake. Ali was involved in their lives and often took them to several places and spent much time at their sporting and cheer events to support them. Ali was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family, friends, and 2 beloved cats.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing, MN with visitation at 11:30AM and service at 1:30PM. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, MN and a lunch will be provided at the Androy following the burial.
