Norma Renczykowski

Norma J. Renczykowski (Grunewald), age 76 of Meadowlands, MN, passed
away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. She was born in Windom, MN to
Ernest and Ethel (Martin) Grunewald. Norma grew up in the Windom area
and attended schools in the area. She met the love of her life, Emil
Renczykowski, and married him on September 28, 1963. They were farmers
through and through in southern Minnesota and had their homestead in
Fulda, MN. Norma could drive the tractor as good as anyone and bottle fed
all her baby animals on the farm and fed more piglets that way than anyone
around. She raised her family in southern Minnesota and then moved up to
Meadowlands, MN in 1987 where they had their hobby farm. She was the
definition of a loving mother, grandmother, and recently great grandmother.
She loved her white German shepherds and was a mother to all animals. Her
faith was very important to her as she was a longtime member of the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Meadowlands. Norma did a little
bit of everything from canning meats and vegetables to being an extremely

good left-handed rifle shooter. She will be dearly missed by her family and
community.
Norma is survived by her children Emil Renczykowski Jr. of Meadowlands,
MN and Virginia (Kevin) Nathan of Monticello, MN, brother; Ernest
(LaRae) Grunewald of Florida, grandchildren; Jeremiah Stone, Kyle Nathan,
Kristen Nathan and great granddaughter; Rilee Stone, along with numerous
nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Emil, parents; Ernest and Ethel and
sixteen siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at
the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing, MN. Elder Larry Maki with the
Hibbing Kingdom Hall will officiate the service. Visitation will take place a
half hour before the service at 2:30PM at the funeral home. Interment will
take place at the Meadowlands Cemetery following services on Saturday.
