Jim and Mike,

Condolences to you and your families on the loss of your father. Nick brought a great deal of joy and laughter (and curling!) into our mom's life and we are forever grateful that they found each other. Even after she moved to Minneapolis, Nick would call our mom every evening to check on her and fill her in on all the happenings in Hibbing. The last time we saw Nick was last August when we were in Hibbing for our mom's burial. After, we all went to the Sportsman's for lunch - we had such a nice time sharing stories and much laughter. It's hard to believe Nick is gone, but we're thankful for the many wonderful memories we have of him.

Jim and Mike,
My Condolences to you. What a special person your Dad was.
He took me under his wing when I was a young man, just out of barber school. He was my mentor in life, not just in barbering..
He was such a big influence in my life. I think of him often and
he will be missed greatly. You both as well as your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Denny

Jimmy/Mike: You know, even though it might be said that your Dad had a long run on earth, it's still no deterrent from the empty feeling that sets in after a passing, expected or not. The only thing that helps is leaning on those good memories, as they provide strength. You Dad was an icon, a connection to a time in Hibbing when prosperity was linked to family and hard work.

Boy, quite a guy ! Quite a guy ! I am glad that I could call him "friend".

My condolences,
