Thomas D. Mastell
Thomas D. Mastell, 76, Hibbing, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 in Chisholm, MN. He was born March 16, 1936 in Hibbing to Joseph and Agnes Mastell. Thomas had been an Air Force veteran for 10 years working as a jet mechanic during the Vietnam War. He had worked in Anchorage, AK for the RCA Corporation and then moved back to Hibbing where he worked for WDIO TV. He also had been a Pinkerton guard here in Hibbing. Thomas was a member of the DAV Chapter #3 and in his spare time he loved to work on his 1968 Plymouth Fury.
He is survived by his sister Ann Mastell of Hibbing.
Private family services are to be held. Memorials may be made to North Star Hospice or an animal shelter of your choosing. Arrangements are with the Dougherty Funeral Home.
