Gregory John Skalski
Gregory John Skalski, 37, Chisholm, died unexpectedly on Friday April 20, 2012, in his home. He was born in Hibbing on June 3, 1974, to Eugene and Kathleen Skalski. Greg graduated from Hibbing High School and had worked as a roofer for Nelson Roofing Company.
He is survived by a daughter, Brandy Skalski, of Chisholm; Brandy’s mother, Sue Schultz, of Chisholm; Brandy’s grandmother, Anna Kelly of Hibbing; 2 brothers, James (Shenda) Skalski of Hibbing and Jeffrey Skalski of Peoria, AZ; his grandmother, Elnor Mattson, of Hibbing; and a niece, Ella K. Skalski. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 25, 2012, in Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing, from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service. The Rev. Kevin Norton will officiate.

Jim and Jeff and family, we are so sorry for the passing of Greg. We will always remember his bright smile and shy ways. They are passed on in his beautiful daughter Brandy.

Jim, Jeff & Family:
We were saddened to get the call from Jim to hear about Greg. Our very deepest condolences to Greg''s family. He was my son Christopher''s best friend since childhood. He was his best man in his wedding. We have so many wonderful memories of Greg through the years that we will always remember forever.

We are so very sorry for the loss of Greg. We had many years of memories roofing together. He will be very much missed. We will remeber always his laughter and joking around. It made our work days much easier.

Dear Jim and Jeff,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of Greg's friends and family. I will always remember the good times we all had running around like hooligans at various relative's homes during the holidays! May God watch over all of you in your time of sorrow and may Greg rest in peace.

I just heard about Greg and we are so very sorry. May God be with you all at this time.
Greg was a friend of my son Jay Gregorich for years. He would hang out at our house many times.
